The Puppy mamma
How We Are Able To Do This
Our Last Litter Program is made possible through Arizona’s Spay and Neuter of Animals Fund — a statewide initiative that distributes grant funding each year to animal welfare organizations across Arizona. The fund is supported in two meaningful ways: through the purchase of Arizona’s Pet Friendly specialty license plate, where $17 of every $25 plate fee goes directly toward no-cost and low-cost spay and neuter services, and through voluntary donations made on Arizona resident personal income tax returns. Thanks to the generosity of Arizona drivers and taxpayers, organizations like The Puppy Mamma are able to provide spay and neuter support to families who need it most — helping to reduce pet overpopulation one mamma at a time.
LAST LITTER PROGRAM
You Can Help Too
The work we do through the Last Litter Program is only possible because of people who care — and you can be one of them. If you’re an Arizona driver, consider ordering the Pet Friendly specialty license plate. For just $25, $17 goes directly toward spay and neuter services for animals across our state. It’s one of the easiest ways to make a difference every single day, just by driving. If you’re an Arizona resident, you can also make a voluntary donation directly through your personal income tax return — no extra out-of-pocket cost required. Every dollar raised helps families get the support they need and helps dogs like the ones we care for at The Puppy Mamma get a second chance. Our 2025 Grant Award
In 2025, The Puppy Mamma was proud to be awarded a $5,000 grant through Arizona’s Spay and Neuter of Animals Fund to support our Last Litter Program. Those funds have allowed us to make a real difference in the lives of dogs and the families who love them right here in our community. While the 2025 grant funds have been fully utilized, we never want anyone to feel like they have nowhere to turn. If you find yourself in need, please reach out to us at Sandy@ThePuppyMamma.com — we will do everything we can to point you in the right direction and help however possible. No family should have to face this alone.
What Is a Last Litter Program?
Every dog deserves the chance to be someone’s whole world — and every family deserves the support to make that possible. The Last Litter Program exists for the moments when life gets hard and options feel out of reach. If your dog is pregnant and you don’t know where to turn, or if you’ve been putting off a spay because the funds just aren’t there right now, you are not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. At The Puppy Mamma, we believe that helping a family keep their dog healthy is just as important as finding puppies their forever homes. We work with pet owners to provide access to spay and neuter services, ensuring that mamma gets the care she needs and that her current litter — whenever possible — becomes her last. No judgment. Just help. If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out to us at Sandy@ThePuppyMamma.com. We’re here.
