Darla had 10 puppies while in the shelter but we were contacted and brought her and her puppies into our rescue the day after she gave birth. She had a rough start in life. She had some kind of chemical burns on her lips, she was covered in ticks and consequently had a tick borne illness, tested positive for Valley Fever and had a serious uterine infection. All this while nursing 10 puppies. But this girl is a fighter and she survived! She is now ready for a forever home. She is a collie mix and is about 6 years old.
